Competition Winners
Centra Forklifts, in association with Mitsubishi Forklifts, is pleased to announce the winners of our "Tell Us Your Story" competition.
The competition generated much interest and discussion from our loyal customer base. Many great anecdotal stories were traded about the durability of the Mitsubishi forklift brand in the NZ market. The entries we received provided enchanting examples of the product's longevity and customers' devotion to the brand. Several forklifts were identified from 1981, which was the first year of importing fully-manufactured Mitsubishis. This is a great testimony to the value of the brand. We have selected a range of Regional Winners as below, as well as announcing your People's Choice winner and a deserving National Winner. These winners will be receiving special commemorative Mitsubishi models, Speight's Alehouse vouchers to the value of $200, media exposure for their company, and a range of promotional material. All other entrants will be sent consolation prizes to reward them for their efforts and brand commitment. National WinnerWai Shing Ltd - Entry Number 0007 Our voting panel couldn't go past Wai Shing for unwavering commitment to the Mitsubishi brand. Over a 27 year period, and in one case 29,000 hours of operation, Wai Shing have been rewarded with unrivalled cost of ownership. The Wai Shing team indicated that they had continued with the product confidence that their father had because of its reliability - despite high hours of operation and a hard environment. And what a deserving winner! Gro-Chem has demonstrated loyalty to the Mitsubishi brand throughout its proud history. And as Marcus Albrecht at Gro-Chem says: "For quality, reliable machines, we wouldn't consider anything else...where we strive to be the best, only the best in support and equipment will do." We are proud to receive this endorsement from the Pinepac team to reinforce what we know already! They purchased their first Mitsubishi in 1981. They were "impressed with the technology and operator comfort." They were rewarded with 28 years of service from that first forklift, and they continue to operate five Mitsubishis in their fleet - including an FD60 from 1982!
